|Digital Photo Comp 2010 Winners|
Congratulations to Graham Morgan, our inaugural Better Photoshop Techniques Magazine Digital Photograph of the Year winner.
We had a very strong field of entries and Graham's image of icebergs against a steely sky won both the Invisible Photoshop category and the overall award, which in turn wins him the major prize, an Eizo ColorEdge CG243W monitor. No doubt Graham will be enjoying his Photoshop work even more now that he will be viewing his images on the amazingly accurate Eizo screen - and our thanks to our major sponsor, Eizo Australia.
The Creative Photography category was won by Lisa Moroney. We're still trying to work out exactly what those guys are doing! A great shot!
By now, all entrants should have received their individual results, and where judges felt it warranted, some notes and comments about their images.
Entrants earning 70 percent or more will also have received a Bronze Award certificate, and those earning 80 percent or more a Silver Award certificate. These are delivered as Acrobat files which can be printed out and displayed with pride.
Not all entries reached the magic score of 70 percent for a Bronze award, so if you fell short this time, don't be dejected! Think of it as some of your first steps on a road towards success -most of the successful photographers you meet started out the same way.

And our apologies for some teething problems with our first competition. It has taken us longer to announce the results than planned, due primarily to a hacker who caused major problems with our ISP. Fortunately, all the data was backed up and secure, but the actual server itself required rebuilding and this took longer to restore than anticipated.
